“After several years at the helm of the Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo and Villa Sant'Andrea in Taormina, I fell in love with Sicily and decided to use my passion and expertise to fuel my next venture — opening my very own luxury property. Previously named 'Hotel El Jebel’, it has been my sincere pleasure to reintroduce this magnificent 19th century palace to the market as ‘Palazzo Vecchio’ after overseeing its complete renovation and reimagination in April of 2023. Perfectly located in Taormina’s pedestrian center and with incredible views spanning from the Ionian Sea to Mount Etna, Palazzo Vecchio is a real jewel for those in search of personalized hospitality at a boutique hotel that provides a more intimate environment.
