Privately owned by an ancient aristocratic Italian family and carefully restored to its original splendor after a multi-year renovation, the four-story Palazzo Misciattelli boasts opulent decor, sumptuous furnishings, high-end Italian amenities and private living and dining areas.
To provide an especially exclusive atmosphere, the property was designed as a small boutique hotel where only overnight guests have access to its private gardens and terraces, glorious views, rooftop bar and more. Plus, with Umbria, Tuscany and the surrounding UNESCO countryside at their fingertips, guests can enjoy nearby truffle forests, vineyards, olive groves and more.

We know that guests seek authenticity in Italy, and we deliver with our gorgeous city of Orvieto and its rich traditions. We believe in spoiling our guests, making them feel a part of an exclusive behind the scenes world, with a maximum of 11 guests on property. We believe that true relaxation comes from a quiet but central location just a few steps from historic sites, restaurants, shops and cafes. We delight in offering guests access to authentic culinary, cultural, and active experiences. This includes access to our 350 acres in the countryside including our private white truffle forest reserve, olive groves, and vineyards. Each guest is an honor for us, and their comfort and happiness is our priority. When they delight in something here in Orvieto we share in that delight. Our goal is to accumulate for the guest as many moments of delight as possible, whether it is hearing the church bells in the distance, or marveling over the Orvieto cathedral, or enjoying beautiful views over the rooftops, or raving about our linens...”
