Catching up with Lisa Campagnolo from Hotel La Perla in the Dolomites

Happy Friday and "bun dé" from the Dolomites!

At HOTEL LA PERLA, we are constantly reminding ourselves to live slower, more thoughtfully, and with kindness. By integrating this philosophy into our lives and all aspects of our work, we've been able to develop some exciting new initiatives which I am pleased to share with you below.

As a quick reminder, Hotel La Perla in the Italian Dolomites is owned and operated by the gracious Costa family who allow guests to authentically experience the local Ladin culture, cuisine, customs and traditions with an emphasis on genuine hospitality.

Surrounding the hotel is one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world, where the scenery is breathtaking and the activities to undertake - in both winter and summer - are endless.

For more information or simply to say hello, feel free to contact me at lisa@hotel-laperla.it. I hope to wish you and your clients a personal "bun dé" at our natural playground in the Dolomites very soon!

Best regards and have a fantastic weekend,

Lisa Campagnolo

OUR NEW WEBSITE

“Hospitality is nothing without (its) people. A daily dose of hospitality can improve the world – and that’s why our staff nurture this concept with patience, love, and care.”

This is the quote you’ll find front and center of our newly re-imagined website, which we invite you to take a tour of. With improved navigation and a wealth of useful information, we are thrilled to use this new website as a platform to not only share important details about our hotel, but to also communicate the ethos, the principles, and the values of all of us here at Hotel La Perla.

CASA COSTA 1956

The Costa Family is proud to announce their new editorial project, Casa Costa 1956. The project encompasses the family’s three hotels and their charity foundation, representing a space open to its former, current, and future guests.

Casa Costa 1956 is a container, a flow of ideas, images, and thoughts – used not as barriers, but to build bridges towards hospitality.

“In 1956 our story started with the La Perla Hotel in Corvara, followed by our family’s Foundation, the Berghotel Ladinia and the Albergo Posta Marcucci in Bagno Vignoni in Val d’Orcia. Our case, homes, have grown without ever losing sight of their north star – hospitality. Leading us to this very day, the creation of Casa Costa. One casa where we can express ideas and musing as well as meet guests in the Dolomites and Val d’Orcia.”

THE COMMON GOOD BALANCE SHEET

“There’s more than just profit.”

At Hotel La Perla, we prepare our budget and balance sheet based on ‘The Common Good principles’. This means that rather than valuing profit and competitiveness, we assess the company’s performance based on social responsibility, environmental sustainability, democratic co-management and corporate solidarity. We focus on the good our company can do for society, and the impact our actions can have on society and nature. We analyze wage distribution and differences in the company, quantify how products and activities may harm the environment, assess the staff’s wellbeing and their overall involvement.

EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCES

“Beauty, splendor, rigor, and elegance are difficult to find all in one place, especially in one which engenders thoughts of the sublime. And the Dolomites are one of the few places that still leave us speechless, in awe of the power of nature.”

There is so much to experience and discover from our home in the Dolomites – in both winter and summer. Here are some unique highlights:

» Enjoy an aperitivo in our tree house
» Try unique wines during our themed tastings
» Attend a cooking demonstration with our gourmet chefs
