What inspired you to pursue a career in this industry, and how has your perspective as a woman shaped your vision and hospitality approach?
My journey into the wellness industry was deeply personal. After overcoming cancer twice in my late 20s and experiencing burnout in investment banking, I sought balance through holistic therapies, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the wisdom of the Five Elements. This transformative path inspired me to create Euphoria Retreat — a sanctuary where others can embark on their own journeys to well-being. As a woman, my approach to hospitality is inherently nurturing and empathetic. I believe in creating environments that foster genuine connection, personal growth, and emotional healing — elements that are at the heart of the Euphoria experience.
What is your favorite part of working in luxury hospitality, and what keeps you passionate about continuing to evolve your brand and guest experience?
Witnessing the profound transformations our guests undergo is the most rewarding part of my work. Every guest arrives with their own story, and seeing them reconnect with themselves and leave feeling lighter, more inspired, and more alive fuels my passion to continually evolve Euphoria's offerings. These journeys motivate me to enhance our programs, ensuring that each experience is not only luxurious but deeply personal and life-changing.
What is a signature experience at one of your properties that truly reflects your personal touch or leadership?
A signature experience that truly reflects my personal touch is our 'Odysseus Journey,' a five-day self-discovery retreat. Inspired by the legendary Greek hero, this program guides participants on an inner journey to reconnect with their authentic selves — a reflection of my own belief in the power of self-exploration. I also personally designed and oversee retreats such as "Feel Alive Again" and "Consciousness Leadership," which encourage emotional cleansing, foster community, and help guests unlock new levels of self-awareness.
Can you share a moment when being a woman in this industry gave you a unique perspective or advantage in creating exceptional guest experiences?
Being a woman has given me a unique perspective on empathy and care. These qualities allow me to approach hospitality not just as a service, but as a journey of transformation. I see each guest as an individual, with their own emotional needs, and I've designed Euphoria to be a place where guests feel safe, seen, and supported — qualities that I believe women naturally bring into leadership. This sensitivity allows us to craft experiences that are both luxurious and profoundly healing.
What is the most valuable lesson you've learned as a female leader in luxury travel, and how has it shaped the way you do business?
The most valuable lesson I've learned is the power of authenticity. Embracing my true self — with both my strengths and vulnerabilities — has allowed me to lead with integrity and compassion. I've learned that the greatest transformations happen when people feel safe and supported. This philosophy is woven into every aspect of Euphoria Retreat, shaping it into a place where luxury, empathy, and personal transformation come together to create a truly unique experience.
