The hotel is a classical gem and has greatly benefited from a tasteful renovation, most recently resulting in a boutique wing that exclusively features 16 very elegant suites. Then there’s the new Adèle Mixology Lounge, a stylish and very hip rooftop lounge that offers innovative cocktails prepared by expert mixologists, spectacular 360 degree views and a magical atmosphere, perfect for watching the sun set over the Eternal City. After savoring their aperitivo, guests can head downstairs to further delight their senses by dining at the Splendide’s Mirabelle Restaurant, one of Rome’s most exclusive dining experiences renowned for its stellar cuisine and mesmerizing views.

“I’m extremely honored to have been appointed General Manager of the Splendide Royal. Having spent many years of my career in other Roman hotels I was always fascinated by the name and the history of this very special place. I would’ve never imagined having the opportunity to lead this property and its team, but I had often dreamed of doing so!

A Sicilian native, now living in Tuscany and working in Rome, these three unique Italian regions have become a part of me. Every time I commute from Rome to Florence is like the first time; I love watching all the charming places, country corners and hills roll by from my train window.

In Italy we use the sentence “Roma è Roma” (“Rome is Rome”) which simply gives in three words the countless things the Eternal City can share with you. The Splendide Royal is part of Rome’s magic, and I am so delighted to have the opportunity to launch the new chapter of this iconic hotel.

Here at our boutique hotel, a quiet and romantic oasis within the vibrant city, we offer unique experiences, amazing views and a truly heartfelt welcome. Our goal is to make each guest feel completely at ease, and through a series of small, special moments created by each member of our staff, we are able to provide your clients with a home away from home in the Eternal City.”
