Happy Friday from Rome where fall is casting its usual magic on our beloved city. Over the summer we so enjoyed making your clients feel at home in our variety of properties across Italy, and we sincerely thank you for each and every guest you sent our way. We very much appreciate your constant support and we look forward to continuing to provide your clients with our special brand of hospitality in this new season.

If you're in need of some weekend reading or a bit of inspiration, below we've shared our favorite experiences across the Hassler Collection, which of course includes the magical HOTEL HASSLER ROMA and IL PALAZZETTO in Rome, HOTEL VANNUCCI and BORGO BASTIA CRETI in Umbria, and PARCO DEL PRINCIPE in Tuscany.

Hotel Hassler Roma

LOCATION: Rome, Italy

OUR FAVORITE EXPERIENCE: enjoying a nice glass of wine on the 7th floor terrace, while watching the sunset and listening to some "chill" background music. There is something very special about Roman sunsets, and we are very lucky that we get to enjoy them directly from the Hassler. Another experience that we very much enjoy is dining at Imago. Chef Andrea Antonini has a new menu for every season. The view from the 6th floor restaurant, together with the many flavors, make dining at Imago an unforgettable experience.

Il Palazzetto

LOCATION: Rome, Italy

OUR FAVORITE EXPERIENCE: definitely people-watching, whilst having a drink on the rooftop bar or in one of the four beautiful rooms. Il Palazzetto sits above the Spanish steps, and one could spend hours watching people go up and down. Just like the Hassler, Il Palazzetto is also the perfect spot to observe some of the most beautiful sunsets, especially in October, where the sky turns red-orange. The terrace also has a breathtaking view towards the Trinità dei Monti church.

Parco del Principe

LOCATION: Siena, Italy

OUR FAVORITE EXPERIENCE: The Parco is a truly special place. When our family and friends reunite at the Parco del Principe, we like to have dinner under the gazebo under the big cypress tree. The atmosphere here is so special. There is nothing better than spending some quality time with family and friends in such a unique setting.

Hotel Vannucci

LOCATION: Città della Pieve, Italy

OUR FAVORITE EXPERIENCE: When we think of Hotel Vannucci, the first thing that comes into mind is the cooking school. Chef Vito Quarto is very talented. He originally comes from Puglia, and has settled into Città della Pieve for the past 20 years. He is always happy to share his experiences and teach guests the secrets to Umbrian cuisine. Another favorite experience is wine tasting in the Cantina Vittoria. The ‘Cantina’ is over 150 years old, and has not changed since. We are big time wine lovers, and would never miss a wine tasting, especially if it takes place in such a special setting.

Borgo Bastia Creti

LOCATION: Umbria, Italy

OUR FAVORITE EXPERIENCE: Whenever we want to spend some time away from the busy city life, we go to the Borgo. At the Borgo we always find peace and tranquility. It is the perfect place to meditate and have some peace of mind, in the middle of nature with stunning views over the Umbrian hills. Our favorite experience here is to lay by the pool whilst enjoying a mid-day bruschetta with home-made olive oil and a cold glass of white wine.
