Catching up with Barbara Anklin from The First Roma

Happy Friday!

I am especially excited for this upcoming weekend, as the ALTO Bar at our brand-new property, THE FIRST MUSICA, will finally open its doors to the public. While the hotel itself does not open until July 1st, the ALTO Bar is ready to welcome guests in search of a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the streets below.

Located on the sixth and seventh floors of The First Musica, the bright and stylish ALTO Bar offers breathtaking views over the old center of Rome alongside a varied menu consisting of carefully curated cocktails, a fine selection of wines and beers, and traditional Italian and international dishes. This rooftop oasis is the perfect place to enjoy a summer aperitivo and as it’s sure to soon become one of Rome’s trendiest hangouts, your clients will appreciate the insider recommendation.

I can’t wait to share the news of The First Musica’s opening with you so very soon. With just 24 contemporary rooms and suites and a relaxing spa with an indoor swimming pool, the hotel is set out to bring an entirely new experience to our capitol. Of course, we also have THE FIRST ARTE and THE FIRST DOLCE for your clients to enjoy as well.

Around the world, Rome is well-known for its important cultural and artistic heritage, but the city also has much more to offer like exciting music and incredible food. Below, I’m happy to share with you a guide to a few upcoming music events as well as where to taste the most delicious Roman dishes for you to pass along to your clients this summer.

For additional suggestions, requests or just to say hello, feel free to contact me at businessdirector@thefirsthotel.com. My team and I at The First Roma so look forward to seeing you and your clients soon!

Best regards and have a great weekend,

Barbara Anklin

SEE YOU SOON

There's something for everyone to enjoy in Rome and we are always happy to help you find the very best options for your clients Along with our General Manager Marco Marroni, I hope to see you very soon, either in Rome or on the road with Waterstone! Until then, have a fantastic summer.

"We had a satisfying and pleasurable stay at The First Dolce, largely due to your staff. The concierge was warm, welcoming, and most helpful. We left feeling like family, and it was with some regret that we had to leave your hotel and staff. A property can be magnificent but it is the staff that makes it come alive, and you have done a remarkable job in finding just the right people. Bravo"
Clients of In The Know Experiences

"My clients are enthralled with The First Arte. They have not stopped raving about the hotel and your wonderful staff since they arrived. They have described it as feeling ‘like home’."
