Can you imagine a better location in Dublin? Impossible. The Fitzwilliam is a 5 star hotel located right on St. Stephen’s Green, at the top of Grafton Street, Dublin’s main shopping avenue.
The Fitzwilliam was inaugurated 19 years ago and is famous for its wonderful Irish hospitality in a contemporary setting. Originally designed by Sir Terence Conran, The Fitzwilliam features an elegant, tasteful and chic design, using Paul Smith fabrics to accent a vibrant color palette. All 139 rooms boast great views of the hotel’s restful courtyard garden or Dublin’s key landmark, St. Stephen’s Green. My favorites are the 5th floor deluxe premium rooms with terraces overlooking St. Stephen’s Green. Beds are incredibly inviting with soft Egyptian cotton sheets as well as duck down duvets and pillows.
The Fitzwilliam places a great deal of emphasis on its food and beverage offering and 2018 will see the opening of Dublin’s newest fine dining restaurant at the hotel. Above all however, what makes The Fitzwilliam special is the warm, unstuffy Irish hospitality it provides. The service at the hotel is very correct but never formal or distant. The management really look after our guests, always taking care to personalize amenities and services with compliments of you, the travel advisor.
Highlights of The Fitzwilliam Hotel include:• Dublin’s friendliest 5 star hotel providing an authentic Irish welcome• Amazing cuisine, passionately prepared and served throughout - late afternoon tea is a must• Rooms with terraces overlooking St. Stephen’s Green• Penthouse perfection with 24 hour butler service for special occasions or VIP clients

"I wanted to thank you so much for helping arrange my stay at the Fitzwilliam last week. Bronagh was so delightful and the hotel is beautiful! I think the Fitzwilliam has the best location in Dublin – just a few steps from Grafton St – but opposite the park! The service and staff at the hotel were amazing. I’m so happy I was able to experience the Fitzwilliam – it will be so much easier to explain and share my experieinces with my clients! and colleagues." - R.A. - Altour

The beginning of February will see the much-anticipated opening of Glovers Alley, a brand-new restaurant located on the first floor of The Fitzwilliam Hotel Dublin. Glovers Alley is the first owned restaurant of well-known Dublin born Chef Andy McFadden. A lengthy spell abroad saw Dubliner Andy spend the last seven years both as Head Chef in L’Autre Pied and most recently at sister restaurant Pied á Terre, London. He retained a Michelin Star during his time in both L’Autre Pied and Pied á Terre. Passionate about great food, Andy has worked alongside some of the most renowned chefs in the world, such as Shane Osborn, Sergio Herman, and Ireland’s own Neven Maguire, gaining a wealth of knowledge and honing his creative skills along the way. Glovers Alley, will focus on delivering outstanding food, and first-class service in a beautifully designed space.
